ASTRO TRADER BOOKS

Astro Trader Books started in 2010 selling camera manuals then branched into antiquarian, science fiction, fantasy, horror, pulp fiction, modern firsts books and more after discovering very large estate sales with books dating back to the 1700s including manuscripts and autographs. Manuscripts and autographs were the most fascinating  as it is a window into the time the author was around and wrote the book. One example was a discovery of a autographed and inscribed  Edgar Rice Burroughs book from the late 1930s. It was also inscribed to a major collector and celebrity. Many other autographed and/or first editions science fiction / fantasy / mystery / horror /spy pulp writers of interest include; Robert E. Howard, Philip K. Dick, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark, Robert A. Heinlein, H.P. Lovecraft, Poul Anderson, A.E. Van Vogt, John W. Campbell Jr., Ken Foster Crossen, Walter B. Gibson, John D. MacDonald,  Aldlous Huxley, Philip Jose Farmer, Harlan Ellison, Andrew J. Offutt, Robert Silverberg, Fritz Leiber, Steve Frazee, Ben Bova, Ian Fleming, Leslie Charteris, Larry Niven, Jack Finney, Erle Stanley Gardner and many more. One other discovery was a manuscript dating to early United States, one of the first Navy doctors who met General George Washington. It was a diary that not only was handwritten but contained drawings from voyages to Spain. It was after this and many more estate discoveries it was decided to sell books full time not only antiquarian but Americana, modern first, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, spy, horror genres, pulp fiction, science and exploration, Hollywood entertainment memorabilia / ephemera, automotive/aviation and much more.
